What needs attention
A quick turnover plan omits material restoration. The agreement should identify which retained or removed finishes need a later trade. What source and material condition must be documented before the schedule for new finishes?

A turnover deadline does not define rebuilding scope
A quick schedule can omit which wallboard, insulation, trim or other finish needs later restoration. The proposal should identify retained and removed materials with their assessed reasons. Material removal and readiness for a new finish are related decisions, while neither proves the moisture source was corrected.
Name the condition needed for the later trade
Ask what evidence and completion record the rebuilding party receives before scheduling replacement surfaces. If source work or further material assessment remains, identify who handles it. The owner should understand those dependencies instead of reading a short cleanup timeline as an agreement to restore every finish before the next use.
Access for the affected space
For a rental, establish the resident’s access needs and the owner’s approval contact before work is arranged. Building cleanup and decisions about guest or tenant belongings require separate authority. For material removal, agree the additional-work approval process and name the trade responsible for rebuilding.
