What needs attention
A duct quote includes inaccessible components. A proposal should identify what was actually inspected and what is inferred. Which system sections remain uncertain, and what evidence would justify expanding the scope?

Quoted components can include uninspected sections
A duct proposal should identify which system surfaces were actually seen and which are inferred or inaccessible. Ask to be shown any claimed growth finding and the material involved. Inclusion in a quote does not establish that a component was assessed, and a visible grille cannot document the full route behind it.
Require a reason for the expanded boundary
If further system work is recommended, ask what evidence or authorized access would justify it. Cleaning hard surfaces and replacing affected insulated material are different decisions. The conclusion should retain inaccessible sections as limits rather than presenting a broad mechanical scope as confirmation of conditions never examined.
Access for the affected space
Bring existing inspection or repair records for the affected space and name the person authorized to approve changes. Written records help distinguish earlier work from the present concern. For the cooling system, identify the actual unit and the person responsible for mechanical access and repair.
