What needs attention
A shop stockroom below a customer route. A small stockroom concern can still affect the route used by customers and deliveries. Which route stays available, and how will the tenant and building manager agree the work boundary?

The stockroom boundary and customer route differ
A concern limited to a stockroom can still change deliveries and customer access. Identify where stock is held and which normal route passes the proposed work. A small room does not automatically mean a small operational impact, but it also does not prove the rest of the shop is affected.
Choose a usable route through a defined plan
The tenant and manager need one agreed description of access, stock movement and any restrictions. Ask how a new material finding would alter that arrangement. Scheduling work outside opening hours may help operations, but it does not replace the responsible professional’s project-specific boundary and completion decisions.
Access for the affected space
If the affected space includes original trim or a restored finish, bring existing alteration records and identify the elements you want protected. Preservation choices need the actual material assessment. For the business space, identify the person responsible for staff, customer and delivery access.
